Germany: Over 300kg of cocaine seized in Berlin's biggest ever drug bust

Berlin police achieved their largest ever drug bust on Monday after an employee at a branch of Aldi supermarkets found a large amount of cocaine hidden in boxes of bananas. Subsequent searches in several Aldi stores in the city uncovered a total of 380 kilograms (837 lbs) of cocaine. The seizure, with an estimated street value of €15 million ($13.4 million), is the German capital's biggest drugs bust since the creation of the German drug investigation department in 1987.
