the life of king cobra is rough than any other creature, out of more than 25 eggs baby kings have to fight for survival i.e. from eagles, mongoose and other snakes too and those who survive have to find their food and after that face natural disasters. so less than 5 make it up to being adult and once they are adult, they are supreme kings of their domain and no eagle, mongoose or any snake is match for them
