  4. Peace and love to all....All music is made to share a thought or a feeling, and it's like food = I don't eat avocados but I don't care if you eat them. I lived through ALL of this music, and most of it brings back fond memories. I would bet the gripers never heard of some of these artists, and are jealous of those of us who have experienced it as part of their lives. Norman Greenbaum anyone????  ^_^

I use to sing it - No Milk Today Marelene's gone away ...
That girl had better breasts than her mother ..
Marlene now would be getting close to 70. and they were sucked a lot over the years.
Where ever you are Marlene, this is for you.
  16. I agree with you. Late 50's 60's were a great time to be young. Great music.i loved it all. Black music, white music, all in betWEEN. Was away for awhile, someone gave a war in the 60's got to that. That was what u call a learning experience. Changed my life forever, not all bad either. Just a kid when I left, came back with a whole different outlook on life. Grew up in the woods, never went back to that.
  17. These beautiful teenagers were so talented, so brilliant, to create the most beautiful music I have ever experienced.
I'm thankful and so fortunate to be part of this beautiful musical era of 1960s-70s. Thank you from bottom of my heart to those geniuses for their unbelievable gift to us!
  18. what about mellow yellow
  19. Music from the 1960's was generally three phases or music types.  Early 1960s saw slower music with some exceptions [Jerry Lee & Elvis to name 2] such as love, ballads to  rock and roll.  Mid 1960's especially with the introduction of British singers was a transition and by the late 1960s much of the music was influenced by drugs and quality began to be replaced by distortion and high volume sound. -  Still, the 1960s had a vast amount of good to great music.
    Thank you for posting this.
