John Muccianti spent 30+ years building this H.O. model train layout and this is the 1rst video for the public to view. This could be one of the greatest H.O. model train layouts created from a private collector. Every area on the layout is complete. The engines, cars, and scenery on the layout are of the highest quality and all add a factor of realism. 6. Nice one, John. Ignore the buttmunchers who do nothing but snivel "but it's not painted" or "it's just a big toy". As long as YOU'RE happy (and your wife's happy), that's ALL that matters.

Really enjoyed taking a look around Johns railway there, I have moved my dad in next door to me as he has dementia, Im going to be building up a railway with him as he is not using the living room for anything so we are going to get some pasting tables and build up a O gauge layout. 9. I see some of the comments and I am frustrated with the negativity. Those of us who are avid model railroaders know that each one of us looks for something different from our hobby. Not everyone is looking to provide the near perfect reproduction of a scene, rolling stock or locomotive. Some modelers look to operate their consist in a prototypical manner while others just like to watch them run. Funding and time also come into play. All in all, if John enjoys his hobby and he is proud of what he has accomplished, then he is in a good place...that is what model railroading is about. I have visited many layouts, some being an eclectic set of disjointed scenes with rolling stock from all sorts of railroads while others have been very specific modeling efforts to reproduce an place and era. All were good and their respective owners were proud and had fun doing it.
