The participants were not allowed to use the toilets in the first three hours and after that they could only go for a bathroom break accompanied by a referee. The previous Guinness World Record for the longest kiss winner was Lakkana and Ekkachai Tiranarat, a Thai couple from Bangkok at 46 hours 24 minutes and 9 seconds The winning couple also got a diamond and five-star hotel gift voucher The two men were taking part in the annual Ripley's Believe It or Not longest kissing competition in the resort town of Pattaya, Thailand. Nontawat Jaroegenasornsin, 31, and his partner Thanakorn Sittiamthong, 28, beat the previous winners of the Guinness World Record longest continuous kisstoday by just over four hours. "We are happy about the result. We won because we supported each other. Last year we only lasted 22 hours. So we decided to come to this competition to compete again," said Jaroegenasornsin.
