Comments

  1. One of the greatest runs in history.
  2. @ 7:15. Imagine if that other runner hadn't moved slightly out of the way for Haile in the inner lane. It's the little things like this that could determine a WR or not!
  3. He was so fucking good! Brilliant. He is a living legend!!!
  4. pause the video at 8:37 haile is looking directly at the camera and saying to the commentators "you like that huh?"
  5. The legend haile 🏃🏻
  6. I like that he never used dope
  7. Amazing Haile. But you can't take Kenenisa out of the picture.. 12:37.35 by Kenenisa Bekele
  8. i remember sammy kipketer runnning 13 minutes flat at carlsbad. he did the the following year. no easy feat
  9. 56,77 last lap... afther 11 and a half laps in 61 O_O
  10. Even today, almost 20 years later, nobody is running close to that speed. Gebrselassie, Bekele, Komen and Tergat were all better than the 5000 runners of today. I don't know why.
  11. the commentator is an idiot
  12. ets el mollor hayle
  13. he literally run alone...he is Barcelona of athletics
  14. maybe the greatest distance runner ever, though Kenenisa Bekele broke some of his records
  15. At 6:03 the commentator says the WR is beyond him. Haile dropped* the pace to pick it up at last
  16. Crazy Fast; one of the best, if not the best ever. Good to see some of the runners being lapped were getting out of his way.
  17. the annoucner said something about his fans fell or something like that at his 2000 world record indoor meet? did anyone catch that?
  18. Eric , Sorry that you thought I was aggressive as I was not trying to be so . It is just that you made a statement that was incorrect . I think you may have reflected on your statement concerning Irish runners being the best outside Kenyan runners and realised that it was wrong . Please give me the name of any Irish runner who has broken 19 world Records in their life on the track or road. This is the record of Ron Clarke ( who only last week passed  away) . He is probably one of our great runners but John Landy, Herb Elliot and a couple of others are probably as good or better . Just a little hint for future reference , please base your statements on fact for if they are not based on fact they are merely your opinion and like arse holes we all have one of those . ( sorry not being aggressive just having a joke )
  19. 2legit2quit!
