Harvest for Kids - Guiness Combine Harvesting World Record Dalmeny Sask 06 Oct 12

A total of 249 Combines participated in this event, and they broke the record for number of combines harvesting in the same field which was previously 208. All proceeds are going to Children's Camps International. A great event for a great cause!

2. All combines were required to go the same speed and not exceed a set speed.
3. I run green but nothing wrong with yellow or Case red. Sure wish I was there. Was hoping to see a pull-type or two lol.

10. sorry to dissapoint you but the Irish record attempt was also 100% volunteered and in the past 3 years through our voluntary work we have raised about €950,000 for charity. Not bad for a tiny country on the edge of Europe
11. That is correct. Ireland does hold the world record at 208 straight cut harvesters. This was in swaths and 100 % volunteered where the Ireland record used paid harvesters.

14. Firstly congratulations on your new record. However as Ireland still holds the world record for the most combines direct harvesting (using headers) with 208 combines you have broken the record set in Winkler with 200 combines working together.

17. There was a full mile of combines side by side on the East side of the field. There was another full half mile of combines side by side on the West side of the field. They combined approximately 300 acres in about 9 minutes. Now that is farming!
