[HD] May 2016: N Scale Tehachapi Pass Large Model Railroad Layout Cab Ride (with signals!)

It's been exactly one year since my last cab ride video, so I figured it was time for an update! I kept meets in this one to a minimum to try to save a bit of time. So, come aboard an eastbound Southern Pacific drag freight on my under-construction 1100sqft home based N scale Tehachapi Pass model railroad layout! In the past year, most of the fascia and backdrops have been installed, CTC and signaling is 100% complete, and many other projects have been started or completed. Hope you enjoy the ride!

1. Please put so lighting in there You can use rope light It will give you the right amount of light and it easy to install I have used it on my layout .

6. WOW!! Love what You have done! Noticed Your IR sensors for the crossing signals & gates, @ time stamp 12:30. Noticed You used sensors 4 [ 5 with turnout ] We have been working on a similar system, that turns the signals off when sensor 3 [ the road ] is cleared. Using TCRT5000 wired directly to an arduino pro mini. How do You control track signals? I didnt see any other IR sensors? I see You ran red @ 14:19 & 15:16...???

17. the weathering on the cam train cars is fantastic man, truly great. also, the view makes your household items look giant, and it reminds me of an unreal tournament map haha
