High School National High Jump Record 2.31m (7-7)

World Junior Champs in Kingston, Jamaica 2002. Andra Manson and myself were the two USA competitors placing 1st (Andra) and 4th (myself). I jumped my personal best at the time of 2.21m (7-3) in my last high school competition of my career. But it was Andra Manson's day blowing away the competition to jump 2.31m (7-7). This is still the USA High School record. Unbelievable! I wanted to upload this after trying to find anything online of this amazing feat. Its not the greatest quality but better than nothing.

1. do you have to pay to go to the national meet? As in pay to get in the meet.
2. Monson JOGGED to the bar. Didn't look like he was going faster than 10 mph? Crazy. Whatever happened to him?
