The highest hole jumped through using a tumbling trampoline was 2.00 m (6 ft 7 inches) high and was achieved by Charles Burrows (UK) on the set of 'Lo Show dei Record' in Rome, Italy on 12 March 2012. Charles performed a backwards pike through the hole, which measured 80 cm (31.50 in) x 80 cm (31.50 in). He passed through the hole without touching the outside of it and performed backflips on the run up to gain momentum. The height for the record was measured from the surface of the tumbling trampoline to the bottom of the hole. Charles is a gymnast and currently performs in Cirque du Soleil. He was challenged by Lukas Steiner (Germany), whose highest jump was 1.80 m (5 ft 11 inches). Welcome to the official Guinness World Records YouTube channel!
