Ballistic Review of thirteen hollow point rounds ranging from .45 to 9mm to .40.

  1. Congratulations, you figured out what most people learned in the 5th grade, that water does not compress
  2. I would like to see these tests be done more real world by adding layers of denim, flannel, leather etc in the bullet path prior to hitting the gel to simulate penetrating layers of clothing.
  3. Love my .40s&w in my handgun and I love my 9mm in my carbine. Thats where both rounds belong.
  4. I like these videos and I understand it's educational but I think they would be a little better if people would factor in bones
  5. nice
  6. Did you know that this channel call Top list...kinda..borrow few seconds your video and place it on their video call "10 illegal weapons of war."

    Just FYI.

Edit: They re uploaded the video. Now their video no longer uses your video.
  7. hmm...6 rounds in .45 and 5 in 9mm and only 2 in .40, with one coming out unrecognizable (not shot again like the other) ? bias or disinterest? not sure which.
  8. Is there a noticeable, projectile expansion difference, between shooting them in water vs gel? I've done some testing shooting into water, and am wondering if I really need to get gel, or if theres not a lot of difference between the two?
  9. Magtech is such low quality and their quality control so negligent it is criminal. They should be avoided no matter how low the price.
  10. in light of all the new ammo this video is way out of date.
  11. Good video. Have you tested Freedom Munitions 38 Special 158gr hollow points? The ones loaded with the X-Treme bullets? They have tiny hollow points.
Thanks, and I enjoy your vids.
  12. some of them look like flwers
  13. That Gold saber round is Serious! Awesome video
  14. Wow those expanded 45's are mammoth lol! I carry a G23 with the 180 HST's
  15. Ranger in. 45acp is untouchable
  16. all crap ammo the most affective ammo is fragmenting period the number 1 man stopper is the mag safe defender all hollow points are pretty much garage
  17. Thanks for the comparisons and your efforts
  18. Nice selection of rounds there. Hard to find, but I now carry 124 Federal HST . Between it or the Gold Dot I think you have the best in any of the main calibers.
  19. I've never seen a Speer Gold Dot +P+ ever being sold be Speer directly. Is that 9mm 115gr +P+ a Speer bullet loaded by a different company (Underwood maybe)?
  20. How about 230 Grain Hydra Shok 45ACP?
