How I Caught My BIGGEST Bass Ever!

When I was a fishing guide on Lake Fork years ago I caught a giant largemouth bass while fishing a jig in the month of March. Fishing a jig is one of my favorite ways to fish for big bass, especially around stumps and trees in stained water lakes. I'll explain how to find big bass this time of year and how I was fishing my jig when I caught the biggest bass of my life. 2. I've caught bass pushing 15 pounds out of little farm ponds that the bass get a good steady diet of frogs and crawfish as a creek feeds into one of the ponds. But i usually caught them on 6 inch ribbed worms that were all black with chartreuse or red tail tips or on a 4 inch storm shad swim bait in a dark charcoal color

8. Awesome story, same here as my personal best was on Lake Fork in March at 11.2. My father lived on the lake there and caught a 13.4 two weeks later to best me. I can attest to the fact that the 11.2 didn't fight much and was caught on a point near a creek channel, so if you ever get a chance to fish Lake Fork, do it.

11. Lol all while my PB is barley 5 lbs. Bass fishing in CT with no boat is meh. Although I did catch the 5 lber from a pond that's literally 300 ft long and 130 ft wide lol.
