  1. I couldn't make out the name of the radio show that was talked about by the guy off camera in the very beginning of the video. What is the radio show/podcast he was talking about?
  2. Hello, this may sound like souch a broad question. But in your opinion, what lure would catch the fish of a lifetime in a lake that is, located in Wisconsin, and only has.. LOTS of Perch, and bluegill. I was thinking maybe a hudd 68 special weedless perch, mattlures ultimate gill, or the jackall ganterall. Do you have any reccomendations? Any at all? The water is dirty, very shallow, and there is lots of vegetations. Keep up the good videos and I love that you respond to most questions! (This is my 3rd time watching this video) Keep up the amazing content! -Your biggest fan
  3. watched the whole seminar and it was great to meet you at the show
  4. Kick ass seminar Matt. Time to hit the water and try these tactics out. Tight lines!!!
  5. If I'm fishing for bluegill eaters from the bank it's hard to throw shallow and fish downhill, unless I'm fishing some narrow coves/creeks. What should I do if I'm fishing, for example, a rip-rap dam from the bank? Is casting parallel to the bank a good option?
  6. what rod and reel would you go with for swimbaits. Great video man. enjoy them all
  7. Great info Matt ! especially at 38:08 , key piece of rigging info there !!!
  8. Most informative seminar ever! You rule Matt!
  9. what kind of swim bait should I get if the bass generally feed on little 2-3 inch shad for 30$ or under btw there are no trout where I fish
  10. Still looking for my first hudd bite. Fishing Don Pedro on NYE I was doing it, well halfway wrong, I felt the wash out. Going back soon to try again :)
  11. This helped me so much I am just getting into swimbaits and it helped me so much but I live in Texas I only have a few swimbaits I can't afford the ones you listed in the video but I have some 3oz savage gear swimbaits and trout 1.5oz as well thanks for this video
  12. Hey Matt I have been watching your videos finally subscribed today! Don't know what took me so long I guess I just forgot to press it since I just look y'all up. I love in Texas. Getting into the big swim baits. Have a shimano of course 400 however bass pro doesn't seem to have a good rod for it. Any rod suggestions??
  13. Great info! Thank you for posting this
  14. Woooo Hooooo, I'm fired up to try the new methods of catching a huge bass. Wish me luck!
  15. Great vid. Thx Matt
  16. Anybody can afford a single lure that's in the twenties?  You're out of your cotton pickin' mind  That may not be any money at all to you, but to millions and millions of people, a twenty dollar bill is still serious money, and might mean the difference between running out of gas before payday, or doing without a couple of meals.  Come down to reality and realize not everyone makes a hundred grand a year, or even thirty grand.   I know a LOT of people who are lucky to make twenty grand a year.  And what about the several million people who earn minimum wage?   That's still under fifteen grand a year in most states.
  17. That was me in the front row in the black hoodie.
  18. Bet it sure does get hard not to set the hook on them big ones in the tank when they smash it. What do you recommend for a muddy bottom farm pond. Only baitfish I know of in it is bluegill but very few of them. Not sure about crawdads.
  19. I live across the country in GA and I don't really swimbait fish that much here because it is mostly crappie and bream and sunfish that the bass eat here. My grandfather owns a pretty decent size pond that we would always fish on and catch tons of small fish on flukes and such. About a month ago I got curios and decided to throw one of those cheap Storm crappie swim baits in deeper water probably like 25 ft or so and I missed a bass that was at least 8 pounds(He came up to the side of the boat). My uncle had got a 8 pounder out of there once. Do you think that I have just been fishing the wrong way this whole time? We have been writing off the pond for a dink pond and just tried to catch numbers. After hearing this I wonder if this pond does have sizable bass in it and I will definitely try out some of these tactics! If the pond isn't that deep but has abundance in crappie and bream should I be throwing these swimbaits(Ultimate Gill) more off shore or on the bank? Great videos and hopefully I can catch a big one soon!
  20. my friend come out to yuba city.. you have to make a Lil segment over here.. just check on the map and see what's near you'll be surprised
