  1. ONE thing i know after reading in a bookstore in mall early 90's while waiting for wife get done shopping .

IN Atlantic City the over all Take on slot floor was 8% of each dollar which is a lot of money daily ............... 3000 slots say they all got played all day long ok not all slots lets say 2000 of them got 200$ each from several players $20 - $5 $10

thats a whopping $400,000 total played Casino gets $32,000 pure profit 365 days a year.

    = $11,648,000 Million dollars MINIMUM ,

I win at slots because i play slowly and after i double what i put in I'm off that machine even if only 5 mins I'm gone.

I do not cash the tickets I hold em till all cash is gone.

could take 1 hour or two Then i take break get snack and drink and start second session

using same exact strategy playing only the machines that i have sucess with.

Penny slots .......best bang for your buck is the ones that only have 9 lines or 20 with multipliers 5 reels old style ....... boring as hell unless you get a huge win then the bells ring off which can take 1/2 an hr so i let it go for 10 mins then just tap the button to get full total won...

Video slots are way more entertaining and you have way more ways to win on 25 lines.

Many differnt bonuses can just come up in any spin Cashman is one i enjoy.

Also Miss Kitty, Pelican Pete, Treasure King, Red Barron , Love birds, Snow leoprad,Buffalo,Timberwolf.

Play where traffic is heviest near bars cashier cages Bathrooms restaurants.

DONT go in lonely corners where there is very little action unless you like space and being alaone.

GO where machines are winning if 1st one you play fails try another.
  2. Guy is talking complete nonsense. When you press the button has no bearing on whether it will be a winning spin or not.The slots are " compensated" meaning past action does affect the outcome. That's not to say a slot can't go on a winning streak for a little while but if it does so it's because it's taken plenty of profit in from other players beforehand.
  3. Well if you think about it, touching the screen takes more time for you to push the button so that changes the time when you would hit the button. Even though it doesn't give you better luck, I don't think it's a stupid superstition because it changes the timing of the rng once you finally do touch the button.
  4. I frequent 3 casinos in my area in Kansas. And they are all tribal ran. Meaning they don't have to follow the same rules as the casinos that aren't ran by Indians. I have noticed that anytime before 10:00pm I win nothing. I will go through 40-60 dollars with no return and literally the moment it turns 10pm I'm taking in the cash. (I always leave broke, because I just don't like to give up lol) but the other night a man was playing lightening link and he was betting 20$ a spin. Within the 3 hours I was there when he was he had won over 18,000$ and he had 16 hand pays each over 800$ he was bragging to everyone saying he was 17,000$ ahead and blah blah blah. Well unfortunately for him within and hour he had fed the machine over 3,000$ with no return.
  5. I agree...the themed machines suck! I always lose playing them
  6. you're so very cool guy
  7. what happens if you stop it?
  8. To Me & From People I Talk To, They Say They Win More Amount In The Weeee Mornings, Like Anything After 1:00am, I Also Notice That Too.. I Hit Bigger Amounts Of Dollars, Compare To The Afternoon Or Nights... MAYBE The Slot Machines Have Some Kine Of Timer In Them??? They Set It To Hit More At A Certain Time Of The Day? Idk I'm No Expert, All I Have Is Just A Hunch..lol!
  9. I did not like his answer on the question about getting the bonus and if it is predetermined or if the random number generator decides because it sounds like the question was based more towards video slotsnot mechanical and i don't think he knew the answer to it. Still the wheel of fortune example was informative.
  10. How did you get an interview with Steve??
  11. slot tournament if it's dumb luck and what's the point of having it
  12. Thank you, great questions with great insight.
  13. I also disagree with him about morning and night success or failure, for one simple reason, the comparison is apples to oranges. Things are determined, a result of the programmed return, BUT there are other people playing at night, many more people. If you just suspect one machine pays better than another, in the morning, you can choose to play that machine, but at night, someone else may have already chosen it and you may play something you feel is second or third best. In each scenario, you're not playing the same machine.
  14. 86 and 89% are not even close to each other, cannot say they're about the same. If someone played an 86% machine, losing $100, the expected coin-in would be $714.28, on an 89% machine, $909.09. Clearly these two expected results are not about the same. Think about this, if on a WMS must hit, you'll move the progressives about an extra $2 on the 89% game.  Coin-in calculations are easy to do. Just take your bank roll, divide by the hold percentage as a decimal. So $100 on a 90% game, 100/.1=$1000. This calculation shows you how much the average player's coin-in will be, while losing the entire $100.
  15. I also stay away from progressive machines. The higher the amount the less likely you will win it.
  16. I forgot, play 2 or 3 machines in a row at the same time. The casinos put high payout machines next to low payout machines. The casinos know a lot of people play 2 or 3 machines at the same time therefore you win it on one machine and give it back on the other. This theory will help you identify the higher payout machine.
  17. When I play the slots I generally try to look for machines with the lowest maximum payoff because the casino is more likely to give you that instead of a higher amount. I also like a casino that is crowded because the more times the slot machine is played the more likely it is due for a big hit. I also prefer playing on Sunday or Monday because the machines are primed over the weekend action. Some casinos advertise which area of the casino has their highest payout machines. Look for overhead signs. For instance Bally's used to post signs that their machines have a 99% payoff. I don't know if that is still true. I also play machines near the exit or at the end of an isle. These machines are generally played more and due for a big hit. The most important thing to remember is never gamble with more than you can afford to lose.
  18. There is a strategy. Be familiar with the casino and know which machines are looser, play on those and play when there's not a lot of people. Don't get discouraged if you lose money because often times it's when you're about to give up that you do hit a major winning combo. It can even take a few hours of spinning before it coughs up a jackpot (even if it's not the ultimate one). While playing, watch the counter closely on how much you lose vs. how much you earn back and the frequency of the machine hitting win combos to determine if it's hot or cold. The outcome is randomly generated and a jackpot can happen out of the blue so both claims (random vs. cycle theory) are valid but you shouldn't play an obviously cold machine that only eats your money without giving anything back. Some machines are just inherently easier to hit, it seems. Keep in mind this strategy is not a guarantee and may not work with all casinos because some have a lot of tight machines that are very unforgiving. I've noticed cold machines tend to be dimmer, the reels spin slower, and make less noise. Bright machines with a lot of colorful symbols, fast reels, and makes a lot of noise generally tend to be warmer.
  19. nice info! you actually touched on most of my questions that I had about this
  20. the time people spend rubbing the machine is the time you should wait about every tap on the spin button, how much time? cant figure it out xD, count about 4 seconds after the reels stop then spin again, you might not win but your money is gonna last a lot longer, get bored and go home depressed lol
