I'm an Auburn fan and that's the hardest hit I've ever seen!! After that hit Auburn rallied back and won the game. But damn I swear it's one of if not the hardest hit you'll ever see in football!!
This was the queen of all hits. Now we got all these bullshit targeting calls. They ruined college football with that rule. I wish they can bring hits like this back to football.
I wish football didn't have the targeting rules now. If you don't want to risk it, don't play. Being a football player today is a lot like being a basketball or baseball player. You used to have to be tough to play football.. It didn't mater how good an athlete you were. You needed a certain amount of grit. Not anymore. Now,anybody can do it. And, I hate that.

That's helment-to-helment I think that was illegal even in 2007.
Its annoying when defenders get a big hit on a receiver who had just caught the ball and begin to flaunt . Sure you got a big hit, but you're basically hitting a defenseless person with no momentum. I get impressed when there are two players running at each other full speed, and one of them gets a big hit.
He didn't even try to tackle him, he just went straight for the headbutt. Didn't even make contact with his body.
Today it would be targeting but not back then.
