Huge Gold Nugget Found Metal Detecting

The nugget is worth approximately $315,000.00 in gold weight, however it could hold more value as it is rare to find a nugget over 1kg and is considered an extremely significant mineralogical specimen. The nugget was found buried approximately 23.5" and when the finder first started to clear away the dirt he saw the glint of gold and thought he had found a hood to an old car. But as he cleared the dirt away, more and more gold was exposed. The amateur prospector used a Minelab GPX 5000 metal detector to discover this live changing nugget.
