014 - Human Population Size In this video Paul Andersen explains how the world population has undergone exponential growth since the industrial revolution. Predicting the future world population is difficult because each country will grow at different rates. Age-structure diagrams and the demographic transition model can allow countries to plan for future growth. Government policy can either increase or decrease population growth to avoid catastrophe. 1. Ignorance and greed have wiped out so many species just last 100 years. Many of these over-populated and globally irresponsible nations should be forced to implement one-child policy

13. I think China's 1 child is to narrow. Make that 2 and people can live with it. Indonesia, Nigeria and Pakistan probably needs a similar at least 2-3 child policy where tradition gives 4-5 kids that will have 4-5 kids. I checked Russia a couple of days ago at 142.006.000. Today it's 142.003.500 and will drop to 141 in a couple of days.
