I LIKE'EM WIDE 20 inch 6 Point Buck Bow Kill Self Video Whitetail Deer Hunt Maryland

This guy came in behind me. It took 10 seconds to power up and get the camera on him. I made one grunt call 14 seconds in. He stopped in his tracks, looked my way for 10 seconds and then came straight to me. Self videoing is tough. It only took 5 seconds to let go of the camera, hook my release onto my D-loop, draw my bow, aim and mouth grunt to stop him for the shot. But that wasn't fast enough to stop him in front of the camera. He dropped 15 seconds after the shot. To date I have around 70 self-videoed kills and will be adding more to my channel. ALL of my vids are from Montgomery County Maryland.

1. Thanks guy. Didn't quite get the shot on video but it's tough to do by myself. I was holding my bow in my left hand and moving the camera with my right. You can see when I let go of the camera arm. I then had to find my D-loop, hook my release onto it, draw back my bow, and grunt to stop him for the shot, all without screwing up, making a noise or letting him see me. It took about 5 seconds to do all that but it wasn't quite fast enough to stop him in front of the camera.

6. Yea, I know. I started videoing my hunts in 2005 to make it more challenging and didn't plan to start uploading them to youtube. HD is next on my list.

12. There's plenty of room in Barnsville. I actually shot this guy in Gaithersburg not far from the air park.

14. I do all of my hunting in Montgomery county. I got my first doe of the season this morning in Barnesville.

16. wow that's the widest 6 point i have ever seen in my life! I have seen a bread basket that wide before though but he was just a 4 point.
17. @WhitetailDestruction Yes he is wide. I also shot a 21" wide 8 pointer with my 12 ga. He was at 70 yards and wouldn't stop for the shot so I dropped him in his tracks while he was walking. You can see that video and others on my other channel, tndoutdoors.
