I've had an sp2 and I currently own a wacom cintiq and I can honestly say, from a digital artists perspective, that the responsiveness and fluidity of the apple pencil on all pressure levels is completely phenomenal. Productivity is subjective and that goes for any product that you buy, you get what you make out of it and I find this product to be completely necessary. At least for me. I've enjoyed every bit of it. I'm actually able to do my school work on black board while reading my e text book side by side. I think it's great. I have my mac for home but I use this on the go because it's portable in the sense that I keep it in my backpack. I love it but I guess that my opinion. And no I don't have money to just blow like that. I'm also not a fan boy who buys every model each year. my last ipad was the mini 2

I can't wait for this edition to become obsolete in about six months to a year and unusable because of Apple's proprietary nonsense and complete insane notion that their friggin gadgets are worth their prices and hardware upgrades, especially in today's economy... Otherwise, wow, what a great gadget! LOL!
