2. The title reads " 5 kilo gold chain " , but the bigger chain , which is the 21mm , weighed a little over 2 pounds , and that comes to about 24 troy ounces. Approximately 12 troy ounces equals 1 troy pound in precious metals. A kilogram in precious metals is 1000 grams or about 32 troy ounces. . A 5 kilograms gold chain would weigh 5000 grams or about 160 troy ounces , which would equal to a little over 13 troy pounds in weight. Now unless Jay Z haves a NFL linebacker's neck size , and he don't , I doubt he could comfortably wear a 13 pound neck chain for any extended amount or time. It would be like wearing a 13 pound bowling ball from the neck , but heavier because gold is much denser in weight. Anyways , the chains shown did not come close to 5 kilograms. Sorry.
