Jimenez JA9 9mm compact pistol review - As cheap as it gets

http://www.personaldfence.com http://www.facebook.com/personaldfence This is the Jimenez JA9 9mm compact pistol. I thought that since I had good experience with the Hi-Point, I should do a review on another "inexpensive" pistol. Jimenez is nothing like Hi-Point. You will pay roughly the same price but you get twice the pistol with the Hi-Point. Still, this Jimenez would make a good tackle box, camping, or car gun.

Comments

  1. Does anyone know if Jimenez still make this pistol?
  2. looks like a toy.
  3. It actually looks way sleek in comparison than Hipoint.
  4. You pronounced the name properly. Sexy little pistol.
  5. You smack a lot dude.
  6. He Man Es. perfect.
  7. simplicity equals survivability
  8. I pronounce it He-men-iz I should know because it is my last name.
  9. my co worker had this gun for work (armed security) and he liked it
  10. Its cousin is a taurus... both of the same shitty quality... no thanks
  11. ive shot over 500 rounds through mine and never had a misfire or lock up... in my opinion it is a great hand gun
  12. So has this thing broke on you yet? I have this pistol, well back when the company was Jennings/bryco. I had to send mine back after less then 150 rnds. Then the frame cracked at about the 170 mark. Now it sits in my safe never to be used again. The main problems with these pistols is the materials they are made of and the fact that the manufacture of these can't seem to keep their doors open. This is due to the numerous law suits they have encountered over the years. If you really do your research on this pistol you will see that there are many other reasons to not get one of these aside from poor quality.
  13. I always thought it was pronounced 'Yimenez', learn something new every day
  14. all guns go BOOM😵
  15. if u don't like it don't use it I have one and it shouts great
  16. While this is the best looking sub-$200 semi-automatic, if I'm going to trust my life to a low budget firearm I'll stick to a cheap used revolver any day. Sure there's no safety but it also isn't going to jam, stovepipe, fail to feed, etc... Plus even the cheapest revolvers are actually made of steel not zinc Hot Wheels alloy.
  17. eemenez is the correct pronunciation it is spanish the j is silent and i in spanish is pronounced e
  18. well done pronunciation on point
