Just a little 4 cylinder

Old footage of my 1.6 rice burner build that ran 11.0 @125mph in this video, but eventually ran 10s after some adjustments and a retune on E85 in 2015. Currently building another D16 block to hold more boost with a B-series transmission then try for an even faster times. Check my channel for the latest videos and updates on this car. 1. you know you can buy a ZX14 and do 9.6s for like 5 thousand bucks, right? i mean, mad props getting a civic to this level, but i see that ruckus in your garage, you obviously do 2 wheels. why not just buy the big Kawi and spend the rest of your money on tires and clutches? Im just messing with you, its a cool car man.
  2. would be a good idea to put an air filter on ya turbo
  3. From ricer to tuner
  4. Definitely a cool project, thanks for sharing it with the world. Be safe out there.
  5. good job buddy!
  6. just go B series
  7. I love to see younger giys like you work hard for something they want so bad ,,,good job ,man my hats off to you the car came along way ,,keep rollin
  8. Unless you spliced the film, that 60's dodge dart became a Red 68 GTO.
  9. Not a honda fanboy, but you got my respect. Impressive.
  10. Just wondering how much bhp does it have? The build you did is actually good mostly in budget, If i'm you I would swap it with LS1 although its little bit pricey but a 2nd hand would be fine.
  11. Very cool to see your progression. I work on cars allot but only to make them function, makes me want to make a race car.
  12. that car must stink, if you gotta hang all those trees on the mirror lol
  13. much respect for your car, coming from a chevy v8 guy. is it streetable to take a girl out on a date? or is it pretty much a race track car with no a/c?
  14. Doing it yourself, from nothing, that deserves respect and recognition from all true petrol heads!
  15. Well done. I like the way you and the car have evolved. You in your driving skills and the car from a 600 dollar basic car to a competitive race machine.
  16. Whp/tq with that build ? And what whp/tq you expect on your new build ???
  17. Holy shit he cut .007 rt. at the light, not only is his car fast but he is a good driver.
  18. Offenhauser was famous for building bad ass 4 bangers for use in Indy cars back in the 1950s and then they put turbos on them and were kicking ass over V8s in the 1960s and into the 1970s. If you're interested in 4 bangers check out the Offys and their history it was a truly amazing piece of engine. Kudos to the guy with the Honda, also. Learning as you go and doin' what you can on your own is what hot rodding is all about. If you screw something up, you learn from it and make the needed changes. I built my first car in 1968 and I'm still doing it. Worked in a garage for an old mechanic after class, when in high school, to make money for parts and learned how to bust a knuckle at the same time. I'm all for you young guys and gals keeping hot rodding alive. There's one thing, though. I did my homework after work and graduated. It's damned important.
  19. zlom dla gimbusow
  20. Love it when you paralyse the crude old Yankee V8s !!!.
