Here it is! The K'Nex Son of Serpent. We finished it and made this video to show some of the features and details. Overall, this is a really great roller coaster. The main drawback is the price -$569.99 @ http://www.Costco.com , which is the cheapest I have seen so far. However, it is now no longer available on the website. A better price point would probably be around $400. We don't like how the mini figures (K'Nex men) attach to the cars, but can live with it. There were some errors in the instructions, but nothing major. Some places in the instructions are very hard to see. It would be nice that, if for each level, they made a parts list for the step (like Lego does on some of their more complicated models). I didn't mention it in the video, but we would have liked to see at least 2 loops. We like the electric motors on the hill which connect to AC power. MP3 speakers require 2 "AAA" batteries. The small station motor rewuires 2 "AA" batteries. The track was easy to adjust and the roller coaster worked on the first run. We like how you can stop the train in the loading station. We like the serpentine curves after the first hill. It is good that it has 5 cars. I made a video with on board camera and will upload that too. We attached a Hot Wheels car camera to the first car and it made it through all the curves and loop. The K'Nex video of this set showed an attachment on the front of the car for attaching a camera. I think for what this set cost they could have put in the attachment and a camera. We love this roller coaster, just wish it cost less. Thanks for looking! Please comment, rate, or subscribe. We do hobby videos of Lego, K'Nex Roller Coasters, comic books, and model trains.
