After a sizzling time in qualifying at the 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships in Irvine, Katie Ledecky went all out on the attack of the 400m freestyle world record set by Federica Pellegrini five years ago. Her swim was one of the highlights of the 2014 summer season and earn her belated Arena POTM honors for September! Unlike Phelps, she's not even a born athlete but she works SO hard on her training that you can actually tell her physical disadvantages are balanced perfectly with those things she's very good at such as her catch and her kick. Many Olympic swimmers say she swims like a dude and guess what, she even trains with dudes and gets to beat them too. She's been tested for drugs a gazillion times. In conclusion, she's hella smart and hella good.
