I watched a special on Netflix where they attacked a water buffalo but it didn't die right away. if I remember right it took about 4 weeks becoming weaker and weaker. as it became less of a threat they followed it everywhere it went until it met its demise in the night. after watching this I think its safe to say that this death was caused by venom. had it been a smaller animal they kill may have been a lot sooner. but but after a few ankle bites it died weeks later. then they ate it to the bone.

9. Such a cool lizard, looks like it could be a Pokémon in of itself as a regional variant counterpart to Dragalge, only with Ground and Rock type moves instead of Water type moves.
