Largest ever cocaine bust in Toronto



Toronto police announced the largest seizure of powdered cocaine in the city’s history after search warrants on a house and pick-up truck in Project Polar. On Oct. 12, 2016, after a month-long investigation, members of the Toronto Drug Squad conducted a search warrant in the McCowan Road and Ellesmere Road area of Toronto. Police say they broke up a criminal organization that was importing and distributing cocaine in Toronto and area. Police seized: 1) 73 kilograms of Cocaine 2) 12 kilograms of Crystal Meth 3) Eight kilograms of MDMA This is believed to be the largest-value drug seizure in the history of the Toronto Police Service, with a street value of $8.98 million. Nicholas Shouldice, 32, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with: two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking In cocaine; possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA; possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal meth.
