well I love the gorillas but there have been cases of even leopards and jaguars (the smaller cats) killing silverbacks, You do realize a tiger can weigh literally twice as much as a silverback? Cats are just natural born killers.

All the people that keep saying a lion or any feline could beat a gorilla they are wrong. First off a gorilla has opposable thumbs which mean it can easily grab things. Also gorillas full grown silverbacks are 27- 38 * stronger than a human and have much bigger teeth than a lion. The worst thing the lion or whatever will do is bite the gorilla
