Must people forget how hard it is to beat the rubiks cube. i had mine for 1 month and could never solve it i even took it to the office where i work and many of the staff had a go on there 45 minute lunch break and could not solve it too. i bet if you took a rubiks cube to a shopping center you will be lucky to find someone solve it in under 20 minutes.

    the fastest robot to solve a rubix cube was made by Albert Beer (from germany) which was solved in 0.887 seconds

15. so basically the smartphone software does all the work and lego is just for the mechanical part? thats not nearly as impressive as a 100% lego machine..

18. I wonder if this uses a shortest route algorithm.
    Something like this will be good to solve your puzzles. Then you could try out various moves and see what it does. Would be easier to see on a completed puzzle than one that's scrambled. Only just learned the 3x3. Gonna see if I can translate the moves to the megaminx eventually.
