  1. What's this? A Chinese lifter who wanted to better his chances to successfully complete the lift by using a more RELIABLE method of moving the bar from shoulders to overhead? But guess what! In 1984 in the former 67.5kg class, Joachim Kunz, a German lifter, did a WR of 198 kilos! Then there was Varbanov at 200, another lifter at 200.5 and Guenchev at 202.5, all lighter than this Chinese and we are expected to agree those lifts never happened. I am tempted to think Hui could have cleaned and recovered with 207 however. But China has so many more people to draw on than Bulgaria or the former East Germany!
