Longest snake - ever (captivity) - Guinness World Records Classics

Fluffy sadly died at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Powell, Ohio, USA, on 26 Oct 2010 due to an apparent tumor. She was 18 years old and still 24 foot long. The current record holder is now Medusa, also a reticulated python, and is owned by Full Moon Productions Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. When measured on 12 October 2011, she was found to be 7.67 m (25 ft 2 in) long. 7. Very cool that is captivity because here in Brazil,we have already found snakes with 8 meters or more
8. The reason Fluffy is named "fluffy", was because there was a contest for local elementary school children to name her. Being children, they named her Fluffy. At that age any animal is named Fluffy.

12. Fluffy the retic was actually measured at 20ft 1in and 20ft 2in long,in this footage she was measured at 20ft 2in long,if u want to see her measured again watch a vid entitled fluffy measuring here on YouTube,I'm afraid the existing 24ft record for her was an exaggeration nothing more
