Mars' Largest Volcano - Olympus Mons

4. It doesn't make sense - if the heat was there to create Mons then why didn't it cause plate tectonics to occur? Also why did Mons not erode like it would do because of weather if it was producing a dense atmosphere and water cycle?
   
   To me it would appear that the heat that Mars had stopped suddenly - also, isn't Mons one of a sequence of super volcanoes it a line that resembles other shield volcanoes one Earth? Hawaii for example of the Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa?
   
   I think we are foolish to assume so much about a planet who's history we can only guess at.

8. I'll tell you right now that was never ever a volcano. Aside from the fact it doesn't have a single characteristic association with any known volcano, the physics don't square either. What does appear to be substantially more likely is a massive plasma discharge as it does have every known characteristic observed in both the laboratory and known discharged in nature. But keep pushing against the walls of the ridged mainstream scientific box, one day you'll push hard enough to discover the beautiful, if terrifying, world on the outside of those walls.
