The taxonomic assignment of C. megalodon has been debated for nearly a century, and is still under dispute. The two major interpretations are Carcharodon megalodon (under family Lamnidae) or Carcharocles megalodon (under family Otodontidae).[2] Consequently, the scientific name of this species is commonly abbreviated C. megalodon in the literature. C. megalodon is regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators in vertebrate history,[3] and likely had a profound impact on the structure of marine communities.[4] Fossil remains suggest that this giant shark reached a maximum length of 14--18 metres (46--59 ft),[3] and also affirm that it had a cosmopolitan distribution.[2] Scientists suggest that C. megalodon looked like a stockier version of the great white shark, Carcharodon carcharias. 1. It literally is just a flock of sharks, if not, im pretty sure megaldons dont have 5 fins on 1 side of there body
  2. I dont care if its fake or not. I do believe that there is creatures that the human havent discovered yet. Who knows what lives on the bottom of the deepest sea? My biggest wish about the future is that the scientists will create some sort of camera or something so they can look whats even in the deepest sea.
  3. I think I saw bigfoot in that image two. Right behind Nessie.
  4. it's a sleeper shark
  5. that's a sleeper shark

  7. 0:12 hella fake boi
  8. wasn't it that deep sea video that was shown to be a greenland shark?

  12. It's a different kind of shark
  13. 1:31 when you see it a couple of times the shape of the shark becomes more clear to the naked eye or it's just me ^_^
  14. I saw one the other day👍
  15. I have a meglodon shark tooth
  16. It was probably a Basking shark.
  17. Though this video is more than likely fake, it does not disprove the existence of the megalodon. Remember, many people believed the coelacanth and frilled shark were extinct, only to be proved completely wrong. 95% of Earth's oceans have not been explored, so who are we to say that a specific creature does not exist? To do so is to be close minded, which, unfortunately, the majority of society already is.
  18. Thats sir might be a basking shark or a great white or a whale shark
  19. Lol.. fake
  20. CGI. Enough said
