9. Should have kept it, is going to die any way after that fight, there was very little life left in it, lactic acid build up will kill it or a shark will get it because it has no speed left in it to get away.

14. the first boat s a charter and here on PEI the rules are catch and release or you will pay a heavy fine thousands not hundreds of dollars and the charter captain will also be fined and lose his charter license,And if you want to complain about the fishermen just remember they are only allowed one tuna per season.We don't fuck around up here.there have been plenty of 1000 lbs and over caught up here. 20. No expert on fish here, but how are you sure it was 1000 lbs? It was never weighed in this video. Are you going by estimates of length vs width? The fish was never measured in the video either. I'm very pleased it was released after it's gallant fight. Such a beautiful animal deserves to live free as a top ocean predator doing what it does. Given the price per pound of Bluefin in Japan...you released a Lamborghini in terms of the price it otherwise could've fetched in Japan. No small thing that. That one fish alone could've paid off my mortgage.
