RPS won the contest by 27 runs. It was a quiet start for Dhoni and he had only 16 runs off 20 balls. Then came the shot which had the crowd on its feet. Dhoni, without a helmet or a cap, stepped out of the crease and smashed the ball high in the air. The result, a six, with the ball landing on the roof. The giant screen at the ground read, "Watch out Cubbon Park". The ball, however, did not travel to Cubbon Park, which is next to the stadium, but stayed on the roof. Over the years in IPL, RCB's Chris Gayle and others have blasted several huge sixes at the Bengaluru stadium. But on Sunday night, with the West Indian not in the RCB XI, it was time for Dhoni to do a Gayle and prove his critics wrong
