In my competitive days, I made bodybuilding my entire life, I slept it, ate it, and trained it. Everything revolved around my sleep, food, and training, and that was what I wanted to do at that point in my life.   1. How long have you been training and competing? I'm sure genetics played a huge role in your bodybuilding as well. What do you think? I'm 55, never competed and only trained off and on for a few years, now after 4 heart attacks and type 2 diabetes, which is gotten better since targeted supplementation and lifestyle changes, i'm giving it one more go before I kick the bucket. Call it a childhood dream not realized. I'd be interested in discussing ideas for someone like me to succeed in bodybuilding whether or not it came to competing in Masters or Grand Masters here in Canada. I've keto dieted several times with great success in bodyfat loss and minimal cravings.

  8. we have a likewise philosophy. my training is a mix of what I learned in the military with what I've learned about myself lifting weights. great videos. I dig the sincerity.

Olympinas use 1.6 grams /kg body weight :/ so i think 1 gram per lean pound body weight is a bit too much but i think because you arent anymore in you 20/30s its ok too use such a high protein intake (more protein+zink=higher testosterone level ,since you need it because the older you get the lower your natural testosterone level is . sry mfor my bad english i am not a native speaker i live in austria :)

  16. Love your approach man. I've been listening to alot of science based approaches lately and they use tons of terms and studies, but essentially your saying the same thing with less acronyms needed. We're a small community glad to see ya putting out great content!
  17. Yep. I've learned to chase muscle soreness. Whatever shocks my muscles. My body adapts within a month or two and I have to constantly switch up sets, reps, rest periods, exercises, etc etc.

    First time ever seen your vids.I am in my fifties,and not exaggerating,I am the biggest most shredded guy in the gym.
    I've thought about competing for years,but too afraid to commit that effort.
    I've never heard anyone that sounds like me and my program until now.
