My Top 100 Rock Songs of the '90s: Part 2 (#50-1)

LINK TO PART 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIcdhWVUmSM This is Part 2 of my countdown of the top 100 rock songs of the 1990s, in my opinion. The 90s saw the rise of alternative rock, grunge, and hip-hop/rock fusion. In contrast to the 2000s, the '90s were dominated by a few bands like Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. That said, I tried to limit the amount of songs per band to no more than five. I think it's safe to say that the quality of songs on this countdown is far superior to the quality of the songs on my Top 100 Rock Songs of the 21st Century list. I sure do miss the 90s in terms of music. Songs were ranked according to a combination of personal preference, cultural significance, and lasting impact on rock music. I'm sure I forgot a worthy song or two, so feel free to leave a comment about something I might have missed. This video is for entertainment purposes only. I don't own anything. 17. Wow. 20 f****ing songs by those ridiculous hacks Pearl Jam yet Blind Melon receives no slots whatsoever. I hated the sound of Eddie Vetter then and 20 years hasn't softened my opinion to the sound of his nasally-driven/mouth-breather, ridiculous voice. Not to mention only 1 spot for Sublime(much more prolific lyrics than the retarded I'm still alive BS). At least they saw Nirvana...but too damn much. They were amazing, but not great. I would have to say that this 50-1 list is myopic and biased. EPIC FAIL!!!
  18. Jeremy should be #1.
  19. TBH I would have put Rape Me and Lithium over All Apologises and Breed but whatever. Also I know like none of these bands except Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine.
  20. A lot of these dates are wrong
