4. Foster the People are my favorite one hit wonder band. Both of their albums are excellent.
5. I've heard Hardline, but I did not know that Neal Schon was in it. That's so cool.
   
   Also, for Survivor, I thought "Burning Heart" was a hit too, but I could be wrong.
   
   This also makes me realize how many One Hit Wonder bands/songs I like.
6. How about Crossfade, The Ataris, Allstar Weekend, American Hi-Fi, Framing Hanley, and Hinder? Would you consider them one hit wonder bands? I actually prefer many other songs by these bands better than the main songs they are known for.
7. The Outfield. "Your Love" is a great song but they have a lot of other songs that are equally awesome such as 61 Seconds, Mystery Man, and Taking My Chances.
8. Was ska a big deal at anyone else's high school or just mine? It was like everyone started a ska band at one point. This was 2007ish... always wondered.
9. I wouldn't consider Survivor as a One Hit Wonder.

16. Extreme are great. Their 1st CD top to bottom is great. Love the song King of the Ladies from a few years back too.
17. "Eye of the Tiger" is one of the most overrated songs of the 1980s. There, I said it.
    
    Why? It is insanely overused in every single way possible. It seems that whenever someone decides to make a training montage (or something similar) they use this song. The lyrics are incredibly cliche, and consist entirely of them.
    
    I would dissect the lyrics line-by-line, but I don't have the time or space to do so here.
    
    The riff is good. I'll give you that, but I've seen similar riffs that do what this riff tries to do much better, namely "Run like Hell" by Pink Floyd.
    
    Lastly, as a nitpick, I must say that it is not as good as "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti, a different song from a different Rocky soundtrack.

18. I think you mixed 2 subjects there: "one-hit wonder" and "carreer highlight".
    Some bands debuted on the scene, released 1 sucessful album and then disappeared, others had solid carreers for a long time with more and less sucessful stuff in-between and then finally late-bloomed with a glorious album. Those are obviously 2 different things. Bands like Quiet Riot and Survivor just can't been thrown in the same bag as Reel Big Fish (who?).
19. Drowning Pool (Bodies), Blue October (Hate Me), Cold (Stupid Girl), Saliva (Click Click Boom), and, well I've seen them get counted as a one hit wonder, NINE INCH NAILS (Closer). If you count Godsmack (I Stand Alone) I say them as well.
