That refrigerator part could easily be made of flexible material using more practical and efficient processes (e.g. injection molding) for mass production, so I wouldn't really say it's an example of how additive manufacture will revolutionize industry. AM is most useful in cases where a more optimal design can be created which cannot be created through traditional means.

18. i didn't print it, but my stepdad works at a design company and used their 3d printing machines to print my mom's wedding ring out of some metal i cant remember.
