   Easy ways to tell the difference between sawfish and sawshark:
   
   Sawshark has a pair of barbels (whisker like things) halfway along its saw. Sawfish doesn't.Sawshark has alternating lengths of "teeth" on its saw. Sawfish's "teeth" on its saw are uniform in length.

   we have Sawfish Bay here where I live , I haven't seen a Sawfish here in YEARS.
   Good to see Large specimens still exist. Local museum has a 6 foot bill, I don't want to even know how big that one was.
   Oh and they are part of the Ray Family, Still Scary to think about that Crazy Bill with all those Sharp Teeth and his POWER to slash like a swordsmen.
