The Smokey Mountain Southern Railroad in N scale is a freelance layout designed and built by me. It is approximately 9 ft x 7 ft, Digitrax controlled, Kato unitrak for everything.

People who make negative comments about someone's hobby make me shake my head in bewilderment! I have never visited a model railroad I totally liked, but I keep my mouth shut. It's theirs, not mine, and they're having fun with it. Thanks for sharing your great and beautiful work.

Question, what were your minimum radius curves? They look tight, but you seem to have no problems with those huge loco's.

Very nice N scale layout. Glad to see another modeler using Kato Unitrak. Very nice job on the waterfall and the wooden trestle along with the surrounding scenery. Hope it runs as well as it looks. How about showing a few trains run in a follow up video. Randy
Nicely done! I have the Kato FEF set and the El Capitan set as well.

How/what did you use to cover the woodland scenic riser? The accordion looking foam looks like it would be difficult to cover/hide that accordion look. I've started my own layout and am totally new to model rairoading. Very cool, innovative layout btw.
