10. FWIW, I was at the race where the 99 car hit the fence. It was Talladega and a part of the car did break a girls jaw. The driver of the 99(Carl Edwards) invited her back the next race on him.
11. yah they come to a stop they try to get out but they have so many seat belts it takes them a while and they have fire extinguishers
12. The thing is though that I don't feel like I even appreciate the craziness of these crashes, as I don't have my license yet (I'm 15)... I'm just kinda used to it, as it's almost the same to watch as my cars flipping and smashing in, say, Forza.

14. A lot of drivers will get out of the cars, but just as many stay in to try and collect their wits so long as the car isn't burning. As a long time fan, I have seen quite a few scramble out after a particularly nasty crash that maybe they feel like someone else caused and throw a helmet at the other driver they feel like wrecked them. Tony Stewart was the famous for this.
15. the reason why the guys stay in the car is because it's a safety procedure so they don't get hit by a race cars anless it is on fire they're not supposed to get out

17. I was at that track at 6:15 i could hear him hit that wall and i was by the finish line
18. I miss Dale Earnhardt. He was a gentleman off the track and a determined driver when racing. He was one of the last drivers who raced to put food on the table. Everybody today does it for fame and glory.
