Longest NBA shots "ever"? Can't be. Where is Jerry West's 60 footer at the buzzer to send into overtime a 1970 NBA FInals Game vs. the Knicks? FYI - The longest shot in pro basketball history took place in November 1967 when Jerry Harkness of the Indiana Pacers (a former Knick) hit a 92 footer at the final buzzer to give the Pacers a 1-point win over the Dallas Chaparrals. The Pacers were down by two. This three pointer was a game winner. The longest AND the most dramatic shot in pro basketball history.
