New footage has been released of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Most of it is from the National Library. It is very graphic footage. A building can be seen collapsing toward the end of the video.

It was terrible! 7 g richter. more than 300000 deaths. Ecuador 2016: 7.8 g richter and about 700 deaths. The difference is the depth. Haití 13 km and Ecuador 20km. Then Haití Earthquake was stronger!
i was there during the earthquake i was 5 or 6 when this happened i was scared terrified and worried i had to idea what was going on and i was inside my house,me and my brother were sleeping and my sister was showering,suddenly everything started to shake i woke up and my sister came running out of the bathroom,but as she was running towards us there was a tv right above us and it was a few inches from hitting me and my brother but in time my sister got us we ran out the room but we had a china and that china had glass and glass cups and they were shattered wall over the floor we couldnt go throught luckly there was this smell little space on the other half of the living room so we went through and went out the house after that everything stopped.everyone was worried and my mom was at work and our cousins too. they came home soon after but it was hard to because there wasnlots and lots of bricks and house that fell so soon they got home and brought tents for us so we had to sleep outside
