11. lol I still have my E Reader. When it comes down to it, the device was only good for one thing: Animal Crossing. It was SO fun collecting the cards and unlocking all there was. A couple of my friends also collected the cards and we used to trade. Looking back, though, Nintendo DID trail blaze the whole "DLC already locked onto disc" thing with the "hidden levels" of Super Mario Advance 4 that could only be accessed by purchasing the E Reader cards and also owning a link cable AND another GBA (or, just having a friend that had both). Surprised that wasn't mentioned here
12. What's interesting is how they revisited past mistakes and made huge successes out of them. The Virtual Boy flopped, but the 3DS is a huge seller. The motion controls of the Power Glove led to the Wii. Even the Power Pad led to the balance board (say what you want about it, but ski jumping in Wii Fitness was great).
13. You guys left out the disc drive for the Famicom. They created another competitor known as the PC Engine (Turbo Grafix 16) when they told Hudson to F/O. That really hurt them in Japan.
14. lol If Virtual Boy wasn't on this list, I was gonna lose my shit. That thing was an atrocity.
