One year of N scale model railroading!

It's totally N-sane! Since it's the beginning of March, it has now been one year since I started my first N scale layout! This video is part one of my one year progress videos. It is a slideshow of a lot of the work I've done. Part two will be a tour of things now, future plans, and maybe a train or three running!

  10. A very nice layout, I like your attempt at scenery it looks great. I too scratch build cliffs, mountain's, rock faces etc. The more you do the better you become at it. Keep up the good work.
  11. how thick is that form base?
  12. I did work on my HO layout for 10+ years, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZY90WCoFj0 ) and never did I come to an end before I tore it Down to make Space for my RC tanks. I know I should have started With N scale from the start. Great video and layout man
  13. Nice layout! How is it coming together still?
  14. That's looking pretty good!  One of the things that's ideal about N Scale is that it's easy to get the scenery to dominate the trains, which is the way it should look.  I went about my first layout pretty much the same way you did, except I didn't do much in the way of hills or a tunnel (not enough spare time!)--I want to put those things into the next one I build, though.
  15. Wow. You should be proud. I wouldn't even be able to get the track together let alone do all that you did. What scale is recommended for the novice?
  16. hey man this is very cool but i have a quick question to ask

how mutch did this cost all together because i want one
  17. How did you decide on the layout? where did your inspiration come from?
  18. I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else trying to find out best model railroad layouts try Panlarko Amazing Railroad Planner ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend got cool results with it.
  19. It looks great.
