  1. hei ken what does the name of your world record paper airplane
  2. what year
  3. Mr. Blackburn, I just want to say: I'm 32 years old now but your book "World Record Paper Airplanes" (and Legos!) was one of the highlights of my youth.

I LOVE flying and everything associated with it.
I can't tell you the number of hours I spent building and recreating your designs. I think it was my Father who instilled this great curiosity and wonder about how a piece of paper drifts down aimlessly by itself but when folded in a certain shape can go a distance (and with speed! My Father used to recycle old envelopes and make "The Dart" and throw them around for my amusement.) Personally Sir, I was always a fan of the "Eagle."

No, I'm not involved in anyway with aeronautics now - I found a greater calling in Nursing and healthcare.
But I still dream of becoming a pilot. Maybe someday?

But for now, I'm ordering your book(s) and gifting them to friends and family.
Maybe one day, someone will best your record?
Or at the very least, be inspired to soar high as their dreams!
That something as simple as a piece of paper can mimic the most complex machines is truly the miracle of science.

Thanks for the inspiration Sir! :-)
  4. I feel cheated, I expected him to throw it like a normal paper airplane, or whatever, ha.
  5. If you want to see a video of Ken Blackburn just standing around after the throw, this is the video for you. Terrible camera work
  6. I think this may be fake.
  7. Lousy camera work. So, someone just dropped a paper airplane from one of the balconies after Ken threw it?
  8. I can beat this record all day.
  9. Ken blackburn is my  favorite
  10. not 27 its 21
  11. Lame video of a guy waiting for something to fall from the sky. So , how is this important to humanity? Another Baby boomer wasting time and energy for vapid success.  And did they not have a zoom lens on that camera so one could watch the plane and not some nervous looking middle aged white guy?
  12. this also needs a good throwing off technique which that man did
  13. Sure, the total time wins records, but the actual flight was not appealing at all. The unstable characteristics of this flight were ugly. I much prefer a slightly shorter flight duration that has agreeable soaring.
  14. Thanks DUDE
    for the boomerang
    its easy, awesome and cool
