Philippine Eagle Capture and Relocation.mov

This is a segment from my wildlife documentary "The Philippine Eagle: Wings, Talons and Trials". A Philippine Eagle has wandered from its territory into an inhabited area of the forest and has been preying on the small animals of the farmers in the area. The Philippine Eagle Foundation has been called in to capture the bird and relocate it into an area deeper in the forest.

   Its just that..The government does not priotitize these things, DO NOT KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THEIR IMPORTANCE. They'll just look on it and say. "Oh its a wonderful bird." They are our Country's pride." but they fail to do some action. Mas pinagtutuunan pa yung mga walang kwentang topic..mas pinag aaksayahan pa ng resources yung mga walang kabuluhang bagay at higit sa lahat.. Corrupt. They're not really good stewards of this very RICH AND BLESSED COUNTRY. We're not a poor country. It's the people that makes it poor. That's why I salute some of this simple country men of ours to do this effort for this things. Kung sino pa yung walang kakayanan sila pa yung may pusong gumawa. :(

13. The public should be notified about its situation. Abscbn and gma as major broadcasting media in the Philippines should constantly disseminate information in their respective channels about the mighty Philippine Eagle. Poaching these majestic birds are due to lack of information about its situation. Sayang if they disappear. Just like the dodo birds.

For those workers who takes care of the eagles in mindanao.They should really capture all eagles from the philippines with the permit from the government then breed them all up so that their numbers will rise again then ask the government to have a huge a island in the philippines where there are huge trees and is guarded 24/7 for the safety of the eagles..That's only an idea for conserving their population..

20. These people are heroes. I want to give them an award. I want to work with them and take care of these eagles for the rest of my life. Philippine Eagle is one of the most majestic birds in the world. We should be more proud of them :)
