  1. Norwegian tv coverered this world record and he explained it in detail. This is some clever physics. The water is near freezing so it is denser. He lands with his whole body. He moves some inches forward in the landing and thus travels trough more water than if he just landed straight down.He keeps his head back in order to avoid breaking his jaw (or face). The forces in play are ridiculous but he takes it as a boss.
