R.I.P 15 Inch Kicker L7 Subwoofer / Bumped To Death

Well just like I said I though I was gonna do. I finally blew my kicker sub. I was running it around 2000 watts everyday and that sub was only rated at 1000 watts rms 2000 max which means 1000 watts most of the time not 2000. It was a good sub. I actually did meter it with this set up and it did 139.7 meca style. Also did a 138 DB sealed @ the dash with my old Autotek 1500 amp. OO well time to move on to bigger and better things.

10. You can run a 20000000 watt amp to any sub and it would be ok as long as you do it right. Keep the gain down and don't distort or clip your sub and it will be fine.

13. Hey dude I'm a jl fan but I recently got some audiobahn 15s high exertions 800Mrs 1780 peak and I run a mean machine 4000.1d on 2 15s and it bangs hard as hell and the 15s were only 98 bucks on eBay and amp I got on amazon

15. If ur looking for another sub orion is the best there 12 and 15 both run at 2000 rms 4000 peak but there not very cheap.
