In 2001, the San Francisco Zoo, home to a celebrated Silverback gorilla named Koko, who is world renowned for her advanced abilities of communication with sign language, had her wish and dreams fulfilled to meet Robin Williams in-person. An avid viewer of Robin Williams' movies and TV shows, Koko sought to express her abiding affection for Mr. Williams in a most interesting and awe-inspiring way. As you will see in this remastered 720p HD video, Mr. Williams not only "touched" humans but also had a special spiritual bond with animals as well. The video, which may be "life imitating art" when taking into account one of Mr. Williams' more endearing human-to-animal exchanges in "Jumanji," his ability to channel and touch the soul of Koko makes for one of the more AMAZING interpersonal, heartfelt exchanges by a truly giving soul (Mr. Williams) and lovable, playful gorilla of Koko's advanced communications skills. Truly, it is incredible to see how Mr. Williams reached into and touched the soul of this beautiful Silverback gorilla, Koko. On the heels of Mr. Williams' recent passing, it also unveils some rare and previously little-known moments -- many of us might have taken for granted while he was on this earth here -- about how this man's beautiful, giving soul (aka "aura") must have shined so brightly that even some of the largest, potentially fearsome members of the animal kingdom were also "touched" in some way by Mr. Williams' ability to speak silently in ways of communication that they will respond with reciprocal amounts of LOVE. I'm quite awestruck, perhaps intimidated, by the power Mr. Williams (not even counting his amazing acting range!) had to reach out and TOUCH so many MILLIONS of lives...evidentially BOTH human and animal, at that! R.I.P., Mr. Williams -- thank you so much for sharing your gift of bringing us together in both laughter and tears with your incredible standup comedy and dramatic acting skills...and for touching SO MANY LIVES in more ways than I'll ever know! Peace and love! DISCLAIMER: I do NOT hold the rights to this video from Koko.org, but only sought to remaster it for a higher-definition 720-progressive format for people everywhere to ENJOY! And donate what you can to Koko.org and the San Francisco Zoo, where you will find that Koko is still living today into her mid-40s!
